A luxurious downtown Cairo hotel recently received a special visit from the President and COO of Marriott International Inc., Mr. Arne Sorenson. Mr Sorenson visited the Cairo Marriott Hotel and Omar Khayyam Casino, which is one of the leading five-star hotels for Egypt holidays, and was welcomed by members of the hotel's Executive Committee, including the hotels General Manager, Mr. Richard Zeolla.

The president toured some of Marriott Internationals projects and Egypt hotels including the hotel chains flagship Egyptian property, Cairo Marriott Hotel in Zamalek.

Egypt is one of the most important holiday destinations for Marriott International and Mr Sorensons visit reiterated the importance of future investment for the company in order to provide luxury accommodation for international travellers taking Egypt holidays.

During the Presidents visit, he discussed future investments with Mr. Ali Abdel Aziz, the Chairman of the Holding Company for Tourism and Cinema, and Mr. Nabil Selim, the Chairman of Egyptian General Company for Tourism and Hotels.
