Whiteheads and blackheads are common among most individuals, owing to the pollution in the environment. However, some of the other signs of an acne outbreak are as follows: pain or soreness, accumulation of pus, extreme redness, and scarring. The most obvious cause of a pimple is the clogging of the skin's pores. However, hormones, genetics, medication, and cosmetic products are also known to play a major role in the appearance of acne.

If you suffer from acne on the body you can use tea tree by putting around 10 drops in a bath of warm water then soak for a while. Alternatively use the honey/tea tree mix by smearing over the effective areas then shower off after about 15 minutes.

Olive Leaf Extract: In use since the Greek civilization, olive leaves have healing properties and in many cultures, olive leaves tea is used for protection against acne development. But since olives are expensive, this method is not so popular.

External treatment is just as effective as internal treatment, but can be delivered directly to the problem, resulting in faster relief. Applying a nutrient rich juice to the acne blemishes three times per day will successfully reduce the risk and duration of acne outbreaks. Effective juices include tea tree oil, fresh lemon juice or cabbage juice. Dab a small amount of the liquid onto the acne at each application. Dab a bit of the juice on the hand or arm prior to applying to ensure no allergic reactions will occur.

Coriander juice mixed with turmeric powder forms another effective face-pack. It can be applied at bedtime, after thoroughly cleansing the face. You can also use mint juice in place of coriander juice.

Lemon is natural remedy that can be effective in managing acne. Dilute teaspoon lemon to a full teaspoon purified water then apply to affected areas. For best results, you can apply it on the face overnight. Wash off in the morning with slightly warm water. For those with sensitive skin Leave on for 10 minutes then rinse your face with warm water.

Mint juice. Also very powerful method. It helps also for insect stings, scabies and eczemas.

Garlic. Apply crushed part of it on the pimples at least 2 times a day. This one is really smelly acne method, but is working really good.
