The Grosvenor House Tower Two in Dubai is celebrating the opening of the first of four new restaurants, Toro Toro.

The restaurant was developed by the well-known Latin American Chef, Richard Sandoval, and is the first Pan Latin dining concept to be introduced to the United Arab Emirates.

Guests taking Dubai holidays at Grosvenor House will be able to enjoy delicious cuisine with flavours from across South America including Argentina, Brazil Colombia and Peru.

Split over two floors on the marinas edge, Toro Toro boasts a stylish but relaxed dining environment for guests taking holidays to Dubai, local residents and business travellers alike.

Pam Wilby, the Complex General Manager of Grosvenor House Dubai and Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort and Spa announced: "It is with great enthusiasm that we launch yet another venture in partnership with Richard Sandoval.

Following on the heels of our first successful collaboration, the popular Mexican restaurant Maya by Richard Sandoval at Le Royal Mridien, we are very pleased to be launching Toro Toro.

It is the first of its kind in the UAE and we have invested heavily in creating a contemporary South American experience unlike anything currently on offer; from the striking dcor with theatrical entrance, burnt orange tones, a dramatic centrepiece floor-to-ceiling fireplace, and unique menu to the South American team we have employed from Peru, Argentina and beyond."

The menus highlight some of the finest traditional South American dishes including small plates made for sharing with colleagues, friends of family and premium cuts of meat that are presented to diners and then sliced onto hot plates.

Toro Toros chef, Richard Sandoval, said: "Toro Toro's unique concept and menu pays homage to the warmth of Latin American hospitality and the tradition of lively, family-style dining. We have developed a menu that combines flavours from every corner of South America and every guest will find dishes that they have never even heard of before. Toro Toro will be a culinary education for all and I look forward to sharing the rich and diverse specialties South America has to offer."

The Grosvenor House Dubai comprises two 45-storey towers located close to the centre of the city on the edge of the Dubai Marina. The two Dubai hotels boast luxurious guest accommodation comprising elegant rooms, suites and apartments, and an array of facilities for guests to enjoy during Dubai holidays including the Retreat Health Club and Spa in Tower One and the B Attitude Spa in Tower Two; Level 5, a privileged business and leisure lounge in Tower Two; and a conference centre with meeting rooms, boardrooms and a multi-use ballroom.

During luxury holidays, guests can choose from a selection of dining options at Grosvenor House including Toro Toro; Ottomans with Turkish cuisine and al fresco dining in the shisha lounge; Indego by Vineet with Indian influenced dishes from Michelin Star-winning chef, Patron Vineet Bhatia; Sloane's with traditional buffet menus; and Rhodes Mezzanine with Signature British dishes with a French twist from the Michelin Star celebrity chef, Gary Rhodes.
