Acne is a horrible and embarrassing condition that can effect anyone, regardless of age, sex, race or creed. The red blemishes can appear in a variety of locations, though they most commonly make appearances on the face, back and buttocks.

Tea-tree oil is a great antiseptic and is effective for killing bacteria on the skin's surface. Tea Tree is quite powerful so you will need to put a few drops into water and use the lotion to cleanse the face. I also add tea tree to natural honey and use it at a simple face-pack.

Neem Leaves: A blood purifier and detoxification agent, neem has been in use since ancient times for various kinds of herbal remedies. Apart from neem based products, its by far more effective if you can consume 2-3 raw leaves in the morning, that is, if you can manage to get the leaves. Before you go to sleep, soak 2-3 leaves in water and then chew the leaves in the morning.

Several different herbs may be transmuted into a hot tea as a home remedy for acne. One of the most potent combinations includes blue flag, echinacea, burdock and yellow dock. Mix an equal amount of each of the dried herbs together and infuse with hot water. Strain out the excess herbs and drink hot to treat acne. Another effective tea you can make with herbs includes a combination of burdock, sarsaparilla and dandelion. Mix and make a tea just as in the previous recipe.

Vitamins are considered to be extremely effective in combating acne. In particular, the inclusion of niacin (Vitamin B3), vitamin A, and vitamin E in one's diet can help in curing acne. These vitamins can be consumed orally in the form of supplements, or better still, in the form of fresh vegetables and fruit.

Peppermint. It contains menthol, which is known as an anti-inflammatory and natural analgesic agent. Use a mortar and pestle to crush leaves of peppermint then apply it to the skin then leave it to dry for about 15 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm and pat your face dry with towel. It helps the healing process of acne and give pain relie

Massage your pimples with the skin of lemon. Wash your face before and after doing that.

You'll need the juice from one lemon and also rose water. Mix the equal parts together and apply them on the pimples and wait for 30 minutes. After that wash your face.
