subject: Removals In North And South London [print this page]

To move goods, say, when moving house between North London and South London is a much greater task to be understood than merely just discussing the topic. As well as the obvious packing and loading of the goods, there is the distance to cover as well, ensuring that all of your possessions arrive safe and sound and are unloaded swiftly at the other end and that the job is completed in as few tips as possible. London is one of the most congested cities in the country, if not the most congested, hence the introduction of the congestion charge for motorists passing through the city centre zones.

In order to travel between the North and the South of London and avoid these extra charges it is advisable to take the ring roads. However both the M25 and North/South Circular roads around London are notorious for never-ending road works and snails-pace traffic jams. This is also quite a hefty detour around the city centre and to ensure as little stress and as few trips are made as possible, it would be a prudent move to avoid using your own car to move house and to enlist the services of a man with a van. The more it is thought about the greater the task in hand seems to be.

If you were to move by car it would surely take a number of trips to move household possessions from the North to the South. Completing this journey a number of times on a congested and roadwork laden inner city ring road route, and your simple journey across town begins to turn in to a nightmarish journey of epic proportions. Given the situation of trying to move household goods from one end of the capital to the other, the man and his van are now quickly becoming the only option to take as this would probably only require you to make the trip one or two times and three if you are really unlucky.

Working out your route would prove advantageous in this situation as to best avoid anywhere that has high traffic volume and lots of roadworks, although your man with a van should know his way around the streets of London and Greater London just as well as a black cab driver.

As always there are certain times that are definitely key to avoid when travelling around London. Rush hour typically lasts about thirty minutes longer in London than the rest of the country, purely down to the large volume of traffic as the masses travel to work in the mornings and exit the city by the evenings. So any time between 7a.m and 9.30a.m and then 4p.m and 6.45p.m are the times one should avoid travelling at all costs. This is both to avoid having the extra stress of road rage and to avoid any potential accidents that may occur on the roads at these times, as people rush to early morning meetings, or hurry to get home for their tea.

Most native Londoners will seek at all costs to avoid having to move house themselves and will always enlist the help of a man and a van in London. Especially if they are moving between the north and the south then a man and a van south London based is clearly more advantageous than one based in the east. Give that man and a van a call.
