Nottingham is known as "Queen of Midlands" and is particularly known for the legend Robin Hood. There are a lot of interesting places to visit and explore. The city is known for its heritage and culture.

So here are some of the attractions of the Nottingham that you should visit at least once when you come here:

1. Nottingham Castle: This is a must see for everyone who comes here. This castle provides you an insight into the history and culture of Nottingham. The famous Statue of Robin Hood is also located nearby to this castle. The castle also has a number of art galleries and well maintained gardens where you can see and admire the castle.

2. Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem Inn: This pub is for the late night party lovers. This pub is believed to be the oldest in Britain. The trip takes us back into time. The Brewhouse Yard is the place that shows us the changes that have taken in the social life in the past 300 years.

3. City of Caves: This is another well-known place that is a hit amongst the tourist and local population. This place comprises of a network of caves that have been carved out of sandstone. This place is situated in the upper mall of the Broadmarsh Shopping Complex.

4. The Angel Row Gallery: This is a contemporary art gallery that is that is situated right next to Central Library Building. The building complex has been closed due to some renovations and some preparations that need to be carried for the opening of Centre for Contemporary Art Nottingham (CCAN).

5. Wollaton Hall: This is a beautifully designed mansion that belonged to the Elizabethan era. The hall has a Natural History Museum and Industrial Museum that is housed closed to it. This place has undergone a massive restoration works and is now open for the general public.

6. Canal Museum: This is a beautiful place that is built as a dam on a long bridge. This fantastic place offers us some of the panoramic views of the city.

7. Goose Fair: This is an annual event that is organized in the city in the first weekend of the October. This fair is held on the forest recreation ground. This exciting fair is one of the largest and has a history of more than 700 years.

8. Riverside Festival: This festival is organised by the Victoria Entertainments in the first week of August every year. This includes live music, markets and fairs that are organized in the different parts of the city.
