subject: Is This The Only Answer To Getting Visitors? [print this page] Every time I search for answers to finding new visitors for my site, I find that the answer is to write articles.
Apparently, writing articles is the done thing for Webmasters to get free visitors to their site, (but do they have the Moody Blues on the radio in one ear & Independence Day on the T.V in the other while writing?) if so, Im in the right place!
A short Bio from myself..
I previously owned two Ebook websites, (a1ebooksonline.com & a14ebooks.com) but unfortunately my host decided not to allow me to store zip files on the sever anymore!
Fantastic! I thought, so in a cybernetic fit of rage I decided to scrub both sites, (they were both PR3) & start again.
So, here I am around February 2010 working on my new Ebook site, ( on the way to divorce & no internet connection) & laughing like hell at the name I have come up for it!
There I am, working on Dreamweaver for the next few months designing my site, ( I know its tatty, but I have only done An introduction to Dreamweaver course but still winging it!
Comes November, Im living at a friends house, (Trev The Rev ) we call him that because he is the local Lay Preacher for the village church! And I am almost ready to publish my site.
YAHOO!! December 2010 I publish my site. With only dusty old ebooks to my credit but youve got to start somewhere & started on link building etc.
After two months & getting eye strain & almost topping myself through boredom, I decided to try something new.
BLOGGING! Thats what Ill do next! So, did it, been there, got the tee shirt!
Then, (in my infinite wisdom) I decide to put a Google translator on every page I can, (wish I had used templates on Dreamweaver now) just for the fun of it!
ALMOST 3 WEEKS IT TOOK! Sorry for shouting, but that was more boring than linkbuilding!
So, here I am working on Squidoo, (found that to be excellent by the way) & attempting to write an article plus trying to convert some PDF Ebooks to Kindle which we are testing on our about us page with free downloads.
