Originally an elevated railway built in the 1930s, the High Line has since been converted to a public park, garden, art space, and local attraction.
A consummate family man, Alex von Furstenberg makes it a point to spend as much time as he can with the most important people in his life. He pledges support to a wide array of worthy causes, charities, and nonprofit organizations. Many of these pledges are done through the Diller von Furstenberg Family Foundation, where he is a key member. He has even played an important role in the restructuring of his mothers company, the world-renowned Diane von Furstenberg Studio.
