subject: How To Be More Productive In Im - The Secrets To A Successful To-do List [print this page]

When you're an Internet marketer, there are all sorts of things that you are going to have to deal with if you want to actually achieve your main goals and objectives. Organizing all of your tasks in just one place is really important because if you don't do that you won't have the right direction for moving ahead. Keep reading to learn what you can do to make your own to-do list so that you can keep your tasks organized and actually get through them.

Clear Your Schedule: It's really amazing how much work you can get done by simply getting hold off a large chunk of time, where you can work in a flow, rather getting a few bits and pieces of it here and there. After you've accomplished the errands and distractions that eat up your mornings, you'll find it's much easier to get through your to-do list because you'll have an added boost of energy knowing that you have time to get things done. When your schedule isn't clear, you'll see that even the tiniest hurdle will blow up your flow and keep you from accomplishing everything on your list. Start off by creating a list of errands that you can take care of once you're done with your day, so that they don't come in between when you're trying to make your day more productive and effective in the long run.

Set Your Rest Breaks: If you work continuously for long periods of time you'll have a diminished mental and energy reserve. So if you want to be able to move easily from one task to the next on your list, it is important to schedule a "rest break" after finishing each of the tasks (or sets of tasks) so that you can reinvigorate yourself and find the energy to keep working. However be sure to measure out your breaks and don't let them last for too long or else your productivity levels could falter. The main goal in this situation is to keep your energy levels charged up so that you will be able to get through your day and actually finish the tasks mapped out for you on your to-do list.

Have a Separate Section to Write Down Your Ideas: It's very common, while you work through the things on your to-do list, that you will get ideas for projects and tasks that will feel urgent enough that you'll be tempted to stop working on your list and work on them instead.

Obviously you should not give in to your urges here because if you do you won't be able to finish your to-do list. Instead, create a separate space where you can write down the ideas you have and make notes on them if you need to. You can easily see to these ideas and tasks later, after you have finished with your to-do list.

Overall, your aim should be to get it done today at any cost and finish off your to-do list, and if for some reason it doesn't work out then there's always a tomorrow.
