I have a metaphor that I use for an average type of communication between a man and a woman (let's say they are on a date): each person knows what they want, however there are layers of social programming and limiting beliefs in the way. There is a thick wall between the two people. A wall of playing games, a wall of social programming. In order to succeed in having deeper connections with each other we need to work on stripping down this wall and have a very direct communication between each other. A communication where both, the man and the women know that they understand each other and that they know what the other wants.
In order to achieve the above goal, it is vital to understand the workings of our society and be aware of what is real and what is just social conditioning. We have to realize that there is no battle of the sexes. There is just the difference between what what we really want and what the society has told us that we SHOULD want.
For example, let's say the girl is on a date with a guy. Usually it is pretty obvious whether there is chemistry between the two in the first 10 min. However, sometimes the guy is not aware of it, or he really wants the girl (because this is what he has been programed to do), but there is no chemistry. Now, in this case, the wall is the lack of awareness of the man and his programming that he has to desire the girl if she is hot in any sense. However, this is based on a false belief.
The way to strip down the wall here would be to realize that there is no chemistry and to recognize that maybe there is no reason to spend so much time trying to impress the girl. Or, realizing that even if the girl is really hot, there is no point in continuing the interaction if she is not interesting at all (as opposed to wanting to seduce her despite of the fact that there is no reason for that).
So, it's time to begin to understand the real communication between men and women and to begin to strip down the wall and hve much more meaningful connections with each other.
