Volkswagen (VW) created a new class of vans, in 2010 they released the new Cady Maxi in Somerset , and it is positioned between the existing Caddy and transporter models.
The Caddy Maxi family is 470mm longer version of the Caddy with 4.2 m3 loading space, this is due to extensions of the wheelbase which measures 3002mm an extended, rear overhang now 151mm, plus the growth between the sliding doors and the rear axle now at 319mm and payload is up to 800kg to 810kg on commercial versions.

Panel Van
A panel van with car-like good looks and handling, but also has the needed practicality of 4.2m3 loading volume.
Window Van
The Caddy Maxi Window Van has 5 seats as standard; it can carry the workforce and the tools.
Maxi Life
Carry people in luxury, the Caddy Maxi Life has 7 seats as standard so there's practicality too.
Standard specification on the Caddy Maxi Life includes Climatic' semi-automatic air conditioning, electric front windows, carpet and full trim, sliding windows and childlocks on both sliding side doors.
The Caddy Maxi is packed with safety features, with ABS brakes, EBC (Engine Braking Control), EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution) and TCS (Traction Control System) all standard; plus there is also the option of ESP plus', (Electronic Stability Programme) which includes DSR (Driver Steering Response) and a trailer stabilisation function.
