Yahoo CEO Carol Bartz said Reuters it expects Apples mobile advertising platform IADs to fail. It will fall to them, Bartz told Reuters.

Advertisers will not have this kind of control over them. Apple wants complete control over those ads.

Apple has been criticized for keeping tight control of creative aspects of the platform, something advertisers are not accustomed to.

Apple introduced the IAD mobile networks, ads on 1 July, claiming that AT T, Best Buy, Campbell Soup Company, Chanel, Citi, DirecTV, GE, JCPenney, Nissan, Sears, Target, Turner Broadcasting System, Unilever and the Walt Disney Studios, among those who have registered in the system.

According to Apple, the IAD network reaches millions of users of iPhone and iPod touch worldwide and is a highly desirable audience for advertisers.
