Here are Rococo Systems & Design, we are often asked "how can we play music all round the house without ripping into walls, upping floors and running cables"?

Good question and one that carries a one-word answer: Sonos!

With many homes, the option of running cables to a central location is not an option, and of course is a huge expense if not done at point of build or has already been planned into your new home.

This is why we recommend a Sonos system to everyone that asks this question. With a Sonos system, you can have your cake and eat it too. The beauty also is that you can start small and just keep adding where and when you need to.

If you already have a hard drive loaded with digital music or a device such as an I Pod, MP3 player, or i tunes via a PC or Laptop then not only can you listen to any of that all round the house. You can also stream more than 100,000 digital radio stations, shows and pod casts anywhere at anytime all with the touch of a button and NO WIRES!

Play a classical album in the kitchen and lounge from your library, and wake up to a radio station of your choice in the bedroom. Rock to Motorhead in the bath, and do housework to Cliff Richard all round the House. (Other artists are available for housework and bathing time).

How you set up your Sonos is entirely up to you and the budget you have to work with. You can install a simple zone player such as the S5 that requires no speakers and have it up and working in a matter of minutes. Or you can think bigger and start installing the SP120, which will connect to speakers of your choice and fill the room with streaming music. All Sonos products have been developed to be simple to use and install.
