Is it god? The Universe? Life? Nothing at all?
Man has tried to work out answers to these very questions for thousands of years and have come up with many theories. For me, I believe we are on earth to learn. Our soul has lessons to learn and we choose to come to earth so we may experience life and all our soul has to learn, in a physical body.
Is it possible there is more out there that you don't know about? Does that mean it isn't there anyway? No! Of course it is. With many other things I am sure. But can you be open to what could be? If you open up to what could be life plays the game with you, rather than against you. That's the game which is your life.
I believe we learn, through each lifetime, and our soul evolves to a higher purpose each time. We come back to learn the lessons we didn't last time and also to repay debts (karma) that we owe the universe.
We also have assigned to us throughout our many lifetimes a Guardian Angel. We can call on our Guardian Angel at any time for help and guidance and you always receive an answer. Whether it is what you want to hear or experience is not the point. The point is, the outcome is always for the good of everyone involved, even if it is a hard lesson you have to learn yourself!
I know my Guardian Angel acts as my conscience; that little voice inside your head that keeps you on the straight and narrow! Your Angel loves you unconditionally, regardless of what you do and is with you every minute from the moment you are born till the moment you die and beyond. Some people believe your Guardian Angel is with you throughout all your incarnations on earth, protecting and guiding you as you journey making decisions and choices along the way.
When you die and leave the physical body you go to what we call heaven. This is where you can, with the help of your Guardian Angel and others, look back at your life and see what you have learned and what is maybe still to learn. If you have to come back to earth so that you can learn the lessons you missed out on last time then your soul has this choice.
Another interesting fact I have come across is that we choose our parents. We decide who will nurture and teach us as we grow up and what lessons we still have to learn from them. I know this sounds bizarre but the more I think about it the more sense it makes.
I can speak to my Guardian Angel by giving myself time to sit in a quiet and relaxed place, maybe lighting a candle and playing some beautiful music in the background. I close my eyes and concentrate on my breathing as this helps to quieten the mind. Then, when I feel ready, calm and relaxed I ask a question. Usually an answer comes into my head and I know it has come from my Guardian Angel.
Many people don't believe in any of it. Mainly because they can't explain it and are afraid of it on that basis. But the truth is there is nothing to explain. There only is what is. Life.
