Ever thought bleakly of managing a high profile business or a firm of people? A lot of you might have. Management is after all, a persuasive and a lucrative job. Most of us like to take control of the surroundings around us and be authoritative. Isn't it? But, in actuality, we are poor self-managers. Most successful managers do not simply consume their time thinking stressfully how they going to manage things and be worried about them. They let things flow, never become obsessed. They adjust to their varying moods by better self-control of emotions and actions.
Eliminate non-productive routines.
Figuring out some of your routines which are non-productive for you can help you effectively manage time.
Excessive television.
Too much sleep.
Addictive behavior towards activities; like computer games and movies.
Eliminating these routines will make room for you, allowing you to do things that you like and are passionate about.
Assess your performance.
Keep assessing how are days are being spent by you. You will not get consistent right away. But, re-checking your day's work will help you keep improving and moving on. Remember, it's all about you managing yourself with the time at your disposal.
