Before I begin, you should know that I have been working online since January 3rd, 2008. In the beginning, I had a personal blog about a specific piece of exercise equipment. After about a month of writing 1 short article a day, I was making about $1.00 a day. Like many of you who are only currently making a few dollars or maybe less than a few dollars a day, I knew that there were people out there making hundreds of thousands of dollars online, doing exactly what I was doing, but on a larger more professional scale. Seeing the potential that Blogging had, I began working it professionally. After nearly 3 years of work, I have finally developed a plan that has and continues to make me a successful Blogger, everyday. I want to now tell you exactly what I do everyday, to be successful, and make over $700 every month, online.
1. Write: Although it seems extremely basic, writing is the only way you can make money blogging. To get people to visit your site, you must write unique articles or pay someone to write them for you. The more you write, the more money you will make. I write 4 articles a day, on my personal blog. I then write another 2 articles a day, and submit them to article directories, for backlinks.
2. Build Backlinks: Many people who blog, write a bunch of articles, but forget to build links to them. If you don't build links to your articles, they likely will not rank very well in the search engines. If you want people to find your content, you must build backlinks. Like I said above, I tend to submit 2 articles a day, to article directories.
3. Blog with a Purpose and Set Performance Goals: If you're simply free-blogging, or writing without any purpose or goal, then you will never be successful. I blog with a purpose, because I have daily tasks that I must do, in order to become successful. When I blog, I complete these daily tasks. When I complete daily tasks, I make more money. Setting performance goals is also extremely important, and rides along the lines of blogging with a purpose. Setting performance goals means setting exactly what you're going to do everyday to become successful. Maybe you want to write 1 article, and build 2 article directory backlinks everyday. Blogging with a purpose and setting performance goals will allow you to become successful.
If you would like to become a successful blogger, you must follow the 3 rules that I have discussed above. Remember, blogging is about writing; The more you write, the more money you will make. If you don't like writing, then this probably isn't a job for you.
