subject: The new Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle Review [print this page] It's been a few years now but finally Lego are releasing a brand new range of lego Harry Potter sets and the jewel of the crown if the lego harry potter Hogwarts Castle.
This is not the first time that Lego have released a Hogwarts Castle set, but I have to say that this 2010 Hogwarts Castle is one of the very best I have seen, the detail is fantastic. The new 2010 Lego Hogwarts Caste is also know as Lego 4842 and is a big set that contains over 1290 Lego pieces and I found this set fairly easy to build, infact it was a really enjoyable build and you can also make some great variations.
Now Lego minifigures have become almost as popular as the actual sets and this set comes with 9 great Harry Potter minifigures including Harry and Hermione along withLord Voldemort, Professor Dumbledore, Professor Snape, Professor McGonagall, Professor Flitwick, Argus Filch and his cat, Mrs. Norris and 2 Dementors.
What I really love about this lego set is all the small feature details that make ths Lego et a must buy for Harry Potter and Lego fans like the fact that the Gryffindor common room features fireplace with Sirius Black's face and the fact that you get 3 lego owls which look great. One of the great things about this set is that it looks like a castle which some of the older sets don't also look out for neat little extras that harry potter fans will love like a lego invisibility cloak, each part of this castle is very detailed, it's a great rendition of Hogwarts with lots of neat quirky details, awesome figs and creatures, nice playability features, and lots of rooms to play out scenes.
