The problem happened last week. I had parked my car in a car park when my girlfriend and I went shopping. When I came back I noticed that the paintwork was scratched on the car. I was so angry. I thought to myself 'why should I have to pay for a car scratch repair service'?
I don't know if you love your car as much as I do. I can even remember the car parked next to me in the car park. There was a constant reminder of the colour because of the horrible green mark it left on my car.
I first looked into trying to put it right myself. I haven't got a lot of money and didn't want to spend it on car scratch repair. It wasn't long before I knew that this wasn't a possibility. I would have to buy lots of stuff and learn how to do it. I don't even think it would've saved me any money anyway.
I have a mate who works in the trade so I thought I would ask him to do it. He said that he probably would be able to give it a go but said a professional would better do it. Although I didn't want to spend the money he said that someone who does car scratch repair all the time will make it look as good as new.
I sat down with my girlfriend and we went through the yellow pages and then the internet. We found somebody to come and do it. They were based a long way from me but they still made the journey out so I am grateful for that. It wasn't as expensive as I thought and looks as good as new now. I don't know what I was worrying about as the car scratch repair service was really good.
