The 2011 World Cup guaranteed to be an exciting, atmospheric and very competitive tournament. Australia will be seeking the fourth successive crown but will no doubt face stern competition for their title, particularly from India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

The International Cricket Council has unveiled the logo for the World Cup 2011, which is pictured soon in front of people, at a ceremony in Mumbai.

The logo has been beautifully designed by Australian creative firm Witekite.

The unveiling was attended by the honorable ICC Vice-President and the Chairman of the tournament's Central Organizing Committee Mr. Shared Pawar, ICC Chief Executive Mr.Haroon Lorgat and the much known Tournament Director Professor Ratnakar Shetty.
