Unfortunately this is not the case. If you type in phrases that have to do with making money online you will find thousands of pages, sometimes millions that have something to say about that phrase.
First though we should take a step back and find out what really is affiliate marketing and is it the way I want to try and make money online?
When I first looked into making money online and came across affiliate marketing was quite impressed with the concept. I thought though at first that there would not be that many products for a person to try and sell this way. Wow was I wrong.
Just imagine you do not even need your own product and you can make money online. Also you do not need to purchase someone else's products and then try and sell them. That's right, no stock piling of products. Another good thing about affiliate marketing is there is no money out of pocket.
Most products sold by way of affiliate marketing are digital products. When you make a sale the customer is able to download their purchase immediately. Most of these products are information products and many of these are downloaded each and every day.
So how does one get a piece of this? Well since there is no one guide to affiliate marketing it is a good idea to do some research. Search forums and find some like minded people. Nothing is better than to be able to talk to other people about what you are trying to do.
Participating in forums and getting help from like minded people can really fast track your learning curve. Some people can learn from just reading but sometimes when confronted with a problem I personally find it easier to bounce ideas off of someone who is trying to accomplish the same thing. By doing this these people will be your guide to affiliate marketing.
