subject: The Rosary Construed [print this page] There are some people who give the Rosary a bad name by misusing its miraculous realities, by desiring the opposite truths for which the devotion is intended. Instead of making a beautiful and wondrous devotion of offering to the Holy Mother, through her Immaculate Heart, the pain and the stain of their sins so that Christ forgive them, they pray the Rosary selfishly, desiring the opposite outcome to right circumstances,of which Jesus specifically speaks against, the accomplishment of their own selfish wills as opposed to the Will of the Father, who isin Heaven.
They also, construe the Rosary, as a means for all kinds of evil and devious deeds that they wish to perform under the guise of overt and pious religiosity; then, point their wicked index fingers like The Wicked Witch of the West in the Wizard of Oz, to those who ask and question the sincerity of their motives.
Have you noticed that in the world today, people pray to God and turn around immediately and kill their neighbors; well, this is nothing new and the earliest records we have are The Garden of Eden, and Cain and Able. So, we know that this type of behavior has happened before we came on the scene (birth), and will continue to happen after we leave (death); rebelliousness and murder.
The truth of the matter is that God in his kindness, mercy, justice, and compassion became man by taking on human flesh, sending the world his Son for our salvation. This Gift is of such a disgust and repugnance to some men, because they see Jesus as a stumbling block, so much so, that they will emphatically deny Him, and at the very same time deny his/her very own existence without realizing it; stating, that she/he sees while all the time knowing that they are blind.
These souls will receive the promise of Our Lord Jesus that they will die in their sins because they have said that they can see. May they enjoy the view!
Well then, how should we pray the Rosary? We should pray this devotion according to the spirit of St. Dominic, with love and sincerity offered to the Mother of God, The Virgin Mary, The Mother of Wisdom, and offer our petitions and the petitions of the welfare of others by asking, not that our wills be done, but, God's will be done, in order that we pray the Rosary sincerely and well, with the mind and heart of love in the power of the Holy Spirit, which binds us so that we not falter and be preserved to our proper end; eternal life, which is to know the one true God and our Lord, Jesus Christ. John 17:3
Repent and Believe
Our happiness, lies in the knowledge of

For The Scrupulous

The Dark Wall
I was in the dark; a darkness thicker than
