(Transcribed from the YouTube Mini Series)
Steven Sadleir with a thought of the day that is really powerful if you think of it. In addition to being conscious, of how conscious you are, you also want to be conscious about how unconscious you are and what caused you to go unconscious. What are the who, what, when, where, why's, and how's of going unconscious? Write it out in your journal.
If you understand your programming, if you know what's going to trigger a response that you're trying to eliminate from your day, your life, then all you've got to do is become conscious of what makes you go unconscious. And the more conscious you are of what makes you go unconscious, the more likely you're going to be conscious, or more conscious, when those situations, people, tests come up again.
When those same situations, people and circumstances come up in your life that you used cause you to go unconscious, you being conscious of that programming itself enables you to be a little more conscious, not to fall into those patterns. You can sit back from your mind, objectively, and observe what is going on in your head and go "Ah-uh, I'm not falling for it." You'll catch it quicker. It won't last this long, if you do got sucked in as much, and it won't affect you as much because you're watching what you're thinking. Step back as the observer, observing your mind. That's the key.
