Now there are volunteers people from a small villages, name it Toli Toli Village, Lalonggasumeeto District, Konawe Regency, Kendari, South East Sulawesi, Indonesia, felt compelled to do something for the save of nature conservation, particularly the marine environment and its contents, due to a sense of concern over the fact that there is; that some large marine biota has been on the verge of extinction, the government's efforts in tackling this problem is not maximized, even almost said no matter, the fact that there is, especially for the conservation of the Giant Clam.
The marine park begin build in January 1, 2010 and their volunteers team build in October 2009. Until this time the marine park have been successful collected and preserved as many as 935 Giant Clams (Tridacna), from various Giant Clams species and sizes, like Tridacna Gigas, Tridacna Derasa, Tridacna Squamosa, Tridacna Maxima, Tridacna Crocea, Tridacna Tevoroa, Tridacna Rosewate, Hippopus-Hippopus and Hippopus Porcellanus and live in the shallow sea to a depth of 20 meters.
Marine parks has not only preserve and protect the Giant Clam but also preserve and protect other marine biota such as starfish, sea cucumbers, ornamental fish, lobster. All of these marine biota was place it naturally in the sea cliff area and the sea mountain (rab) along the four miles in four villages, namely : Rapambinopaka Village, Nii - Tanasa Village, Toli-Toli Village and Wawobungi Village, with the center of concentration in the five sea mountain (rab) in the Nii - Tanasa Village and Toli Toli Village, Lalonggasumeeto district, Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province, this place can be reach in 1 hour driver from the city of Kendari.
