Scheduled flights are charged on per ticket basis which may be inclusive of taxes or exclusive and it will be always indicated on the notes so that the traveler is aware. Special fares are also provided but have expiry date or period which travelers when purchasing tickets should not enjoy the benefit of cheap fares without checking the validity as you may pay double in the event the expiry period falls when you are still on safari. Always check on validity and see whether it will be within your travel plans or else you rather pay full ticket other than pay for cheap and end up paying more in the end.
There are different ticket rates for each country as the pricing policies of each country vary and that is why you should not assume but get rates for each country. In Kenya scheduled flights are operated differently to the national parks and game reserves and the timetables are different. All passengers visiting the Abadares, Mt Kenya, Nyeri, Tree tops are dropped and picked at Nanyuki airstrip while those going to Meru National Parks are dropped and picked at Elsa's Kopje airstrip in Meru with daily flights once.

Baggage allowance is strictly 15 kilos per person in soft bags and for excess baggage it will depend on the space availability but you can pay for a seat which represents 75 kilograms if you anticipate to have more than 15 kilograms. It does matter the aircraft is full or has one person the charge is for the entire aircraft. Aircrafts range in 3, 5, 12, 18 seats and you can join and charter an aircraft that is equivalent to your group. The hourly rates are exclusive of passenger airport departure tax. Incase you have to land into agame reserve or national park the landing fees and park entry fees will be on the clients account which is not included in the hourly rate. For aerial survey and photography there is an helicopter one seater with a position to install a camera which is going at a competitive rate per hour .All the above mentioned aircrafts have been built in a manner that you can take pictures in-flight and if the need be the window or door can be removed for film shooting and mapping activities. For these services you will be required to make an advance booking as these aircrafts are scarce and on high demand especially from Mid June to 15th Dec every year.
