The famous Pools of Oheo with waterfalls dropping out into further pools and then gradually going towards the sea would permanently mark the Haleakala National Park in your memory. To find out more about the exquisite beauty of Maui, there's no other alternative but to land at Kahului (OGG) - Maui's main airport, or Kapalua airport (JHM) in West Maui, or Hana airport (HNM) in East Maui. There of course are alternative routes of visiting Maui, but it all depends on your traveling schedule.
