subject: How To Stay Happy All The Time [print this page] Have you heard yourself say, "I just want to be happy in life?" Well I have. In fact, most people have probably cried out the same thing at one point of their lives. All people want to be happy, they just don't know how. I'm not an expert when it comes to happiness, but I guess you'll benefit from what I'm going to have to say.
Being a perfectionist has its disadvantages. It hinders you from flowing in life in a spontaneous manner. If you want to live a worry-free life, start with not worrying about the less important things like keeping the house clean. Try to miss a day and spend that day instead relaxing and enjoying your time with family.
Spend more time with your family and you will discover that you have been missing out with the most important things in life because of your preoccupation with so many things. For once, try to ignore your to-do list and just focus on being with your loved ones. They will show you how to be a little child once again.
As you get back to work, make sure you have a priority list. Concentrate on the most important tasks and finish them first before you proceed to the less important ones. Don't try to accomplish all tasks at once! You're not superman or superwoman so don't act like you are. Multitasking will only stress you out, or worse, leave you without finishing a thing.
You have heard it many times but I will say it again "To be happy is to be content."Even if you are the richest person in the world, you will never be truly happy if you are not contented with what you have. Discontent is like a person chasing after the wind. No matter what you do, you will never be able to grasp it in your hands.
You only have one wild and precious life to live on this planet earth, so why spend it worrying and letting yourself get distracted with so many things? Focus on the things that are more important; to rest, to relax and to enjoy life with your loved ones.
