For many, hair loss is nightmareFor many, hair loss is nightmare. The hair is a person's crowning glory and it is hard and unpleasant to see that the head is slowly getting bald. Hair loss can be caused by a lot of factors including genes, stress, and hormones. The good thing is, there are many hair loss treatments that are available for everyone. Some treatments are affordable while others are really expensive and the choice of treatments just depends on the cause and severity of the hair loss and on how much money a person is willing to spend. Hair loss is more prevalent among men than among women. Hence, it is mostly men who undergo hair loss treatments.

There are natural treatments for hair loss and there are also medical procedures. Most medical procedures involve surgery so some people do not consider this as an option because of the pain it may bring. Truly, surgery can be very painful but due to the advancements in technology, surgical procedures are already modified for the better. Natural hair loss treatments are regarded by some to be safer since it does not involve surgery but this procedure may take some time before results can show up.

Hair restoration is one of the many ways to treat hair loss. Male hair restoration is a surgical way to treat hair loss that has two general procedures: the scalp flap surgery and the scalp reduction surgery. In the scalp flap surgery, a flap of skin and the tissues underneath it are moved from one site to another. First, the surgeon will cut off a scalp area that is no longer capable of growing hair and replaces it with the healthy part of the scalp. This surgery is usually done to correct a cosmetic defect or repair an injury and enhance its appearance. Scalp reduction surgery, on the other hand, involves the removal of the bald scalp and stretching the healthy hair-bearing scalp to fill in the gap.

Male hair restoration surgeries can be very painful but they will eventually heal. The time it takes for hair to grow again might take some time depending on the person because all the wounds have to heal first. All the efforts will pay off and given some time, baldness will be cured.
