You are obliged to search any information in your school library, or to roam around the city. You and your group mates are obliged to search your nearby competitors, land, equipments and tools and a lot more.
As they move forward towards the secondary level, the level of research has become broader and more difficult. The instructor is not going easy for his or her students to just research some easy stuff. As part of their growth, the student needs to research deeply in order to find relevant information for his assignment, report or project. School library is where the students and teachers are spending their time researching, but it cost them a lot of books and time to get anything they want.
Why don't we try to use the internet as our alternative source of researching? If you think that internet is a relevant source of information and is better than a school or public library, let's try to compare between the two. A school library is designed for schools and universities as a place for researching. What you can see in a school or public library is full of books, magazines and newspapers. If you are searching about three things like Science, Math and English for example, it needs you to have at least one resource book for each subject.
As students of your respective school or university, you are obliged to have your own library card. You can use your library card to use it for cyber library purposes. But it does not mean that they can use it for unlimited purposes. Each student was credit for at least 10 to 20 hours per semester of using it for researching. But it really depends on what school you are, but at least you know that broadband internet in a school or public library is very useful. It was also used within the school library in a private server only, where students can search books using the computer. There are over hundreds of schools around the world are now using broadband internet for their students to search anything for their assignments, projects and thesis reports. It may fasten their research than sticking to browsing some books that will consume a lot of their time.
