It is true to say that Jersey has somewhat of a reputation for being a millionaire's playground, and to a certain extent this is true, Jersey may not be the best place to go if you are on an extremely tight budget - or at least, this used to be the case...

However times are changing and with the current economic downturn the tourist industry is creaking into action in response to the change in customer spending behaviour. The Island of Jersey is no different and people travel from all over to visit this interesting location. The island is in the archipelago known as the Channel Islands, its location and proximity to France helps to give it a warmer more enticing climate then the mainland. Think the south coast of England but warmer and less rain.

On arrival in Jersey, you will be amazed at the sheer amount of flora that is in bloom and it's all down to the warmer climate. This makes Jersey a beautiful place to visit and you can come anytime of the year.

After nearly a thousand years of ownership disputes between the English and the French (Anglo Saxons and Normans/Gauls), the island of Jersey is owned by the crown and as such falls under UK law.

Surrounded by stunning coastline, Jersey really does have something for everyone, if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing time there are loads of different walks you can take and a plethora of botanical gardens and ruins to explore. For the more adventurous amongst you there are a number of water sport options available too.

It's only a 20-minute walk to the castle, golf course and a number of stunning beaches. The rooms are traditionally decorated and the price is very reasonable, there is a small bar and an outdoor pool too.

If you are looking for a cheap hotels, Jersey that has leisure facilities too then look no further than the Beau Site hotel, this 3 star hotel is not only good value for money it boasts a Spa with a sauna and pool to help you relax and unwind from a hard day's sight seeing. The island has a wide variety of cheap hotels, Jersey is no longer too expensive and should be top of your list for your next trip.
