subject: Sustained Growth of China Bearing Industry [print this page] Due to the national policies in stimulation of the domestic demands and the joint efforts of bearing enterprises, China bearing industry has achieved various economic goals. It is predicted that with the improvement of the economic situation at home and abroad, the bearing industry in China will maintain the growing development in 2010 as well as the following years.
The year of 2010 is the last year for the implementation of the "Eleventh Five-Year" plan. There are three major factors that will lead to the development of bearing industry in the domestic market. Firstly, the national policy of stimulating domestic demands will not change which will push the domestic economy. Secondly, with the development of the national economy and the economic restructuring, various bearing enterprices will pay more attention to the research and development investments. They will accelerate the pace of technological transformation so as to stimulate the development of enterprises. Thirdly, the state plans to implement the "major equipment manufacturing industry adjustment programs"and "automobile industry restructuring plans" which will obviously bring strong driving force to the bearing industry.
As to the exports of bearing products, when taking the effects of economy recovers of many international countries and taking into account of the impact of the global financial crisis, various indicators have low base. But there is still about 10% exports growth of the bearing products. From point of view about the export product composition, the export volume of ball bearings still occupies the first which accounts for 85.27% of the total export volume. And the amount of exports and foreign exchang of needle roller bearings remains relatively high growth. Meanwhile, export volume of cylindrical roller bearings also maintains high growth. When compared to the same period of last year, it has an increase of 194.63%.
It is predicted that the main business income of bearing industry in 2010 will above 100 billion Yuan. And the bearing production will reach 12 billion units. The export value will reach 2.2 billion. Besides, the added value of energy consumption will be reduced by 10%.
In addition to the development, various industries including bearing industry have become increasingly concerned about green issues in recent years. They try to take a "green" road, at the same time, they try to ensure that machinery and equipments can be run as efficiently as possible. Taking this as its objective, the bearing industry is going through a "green" revolution. It develops towards following aspects. Firstly, higher speeds can lead to less friction, thus to lower the operating temperature and reduce the energy losses. Secondly, enterprises try to use environmentally friendly lubricants. Thirdly, they try to extend the service life of bearing products and spend less during the usage.
