Sweating is a physiological response for all humans. How to deal with body odor is another battle that we all face. Often, both cause problems at the same time. The good news is these problems are usually easy to fix and are only temporary. However, for some people dealing with excessive sweating and body odor is an every day battle. This can make life very hard. Sweat stains and other side affects of these two issues can cause almost daily embarrassment. The good news is there are things you can do to control both these issues. Here are some ways for you to combat these two problems.

In cases where nothing else seems to work, the only treatment for excessive sweating and body odor may be surgery. You should, however, try all other options before surgery. Don't consider this alternative unless you must. This is a surgical procedure that reduces the amount of sweat produced by your sweat glands, and this may have side effects that you won't like. Yet, if your sweat glands are producing a very high volume of sweat, you may need surgery to control this. Your doctor will be able to help you figure out if this is the best course of action. After an episode of excess sweating or uncontrollable body odor you need to change your clothes in addition to bathing. Stinky body odor can be truely reduced by simply making this simple change of clothing. The reason for this is that your odor causing sweat can be transferred to your clothing causing the smell to last longer. You may find your clothes are now uncomfortable because of the wet, sticky feeling it will cause you. Finding yourself stuck in wet stinky clothes can be less than comfortable. Why would you keep those clothing on if you don't have to? Keep an extra set of clothes within reach is an excellent way to keep your issue under control during the day.

Extreme cases may require the use of Botox injections to manage excessive sweating and body odor. Extreme cases does not refer to the sweating you do after exercising or for every day type sweating. Botox is only recommended as a last resort when the sweating is intense. Botox can be used to block the nerves that trigger the sweat glands. It only takes a small amount to shut down the sweat glands completely. Do not attempt this method without first talking to your doctor and an endocrinologist. Remember: Botox is poison and should not be used without a doctor's consent, especially for this purpose. I don't know anyone who likes sweat. This could feel pleasant during exercise but not many other times. The slick slimy feelings afterwards aren't great though. Pleasant is not a term that describes body odor. The fact is most of us actually find it repulsive especially since we've been battling to prevent it. Thankfully there are things you can do to prevent excessive sweating and body odor. You will find that what worked for your neighbor might not work for you. Just because a particular method didn't work for you doesn't mean you should stop trying other options. You will discover what works and what doesn't. Sweaty pits and stinky odors will soon become a thing of the past for you.
