When capturing images it offers you face detection and built-in effects including depth of field, vignette and others. Video recording is in 720 pixel resolution and High Definition, which can then be played back on the handset or connected to an HD screen for a bigger screen view. Both videos and images are also location tagged (geotagging).
The phone has a standard microUSB (5-pin microUSB 2.0) for a fast connection and syncing capability to a computer, along with Bluetooth 2.1 with Enhanced Data Rate for a close proximity wireless file sharing connection between compatible devices. It also features the A2DP stereo wireless profile for wireless headsets when listening to music or other audio output on the phone. For more traditional headphone users there is also a standard 3.5mm audio jack connection.
The handset provides Friend Stream which compiles all contacts with their latest Facebook status to Tweet on Twitter together into one easy to read view and allows you to communicate with contacts. Both Facebook and Twitter for the intuitive HTC Sense user interface are integrated as is Peep for easy tweeting. Photos and videos can also be instantly shared on these social networks.
