subject: Great Sales Page But Still Not Converting - One Simple Tweak Might Be the Answer [print this page] I don't know about you, but I've spent weeks on creating some of my sales pages. I'm not a professional copywriter, but I do take pride that I can use words sensibly. So it always comes as a disappointment when one of my sales pages, which I believe is of good quality, just doesn't deliver.
Recently, I took a step back. You see, there is so much free advice available on the internet about creating effective sale pages, I thought that may be I was guilty of too much analysis.
What I found astounded me. Have you heard of Valerieann Giovanni? No? Neither had I. What Valerieann teaches is that the subconscious mind is a key factor in the success of any web page - and that includes sales pages.
You see, when its presented with a web page, the subconscious mind makes an instant opinion about whether it likes it. If it doesn't, you can forget selling to that visitor. If the subconscious likes your sales page, then you probably have a buyer.
Conversely, if it isn't attracted to your page, you have very little chance of making a sale. This is because the subconscious mind has a greater power than rational or logical thought.
In essence, if you can grab the subconscious mind of your sales page visitor, you are much more likely to make a sale.
Thank you Valerieann. Your help as been invaluable to me and, I hope, to those other ineternet marketers and webmasters who read this article.
