subject: Oratory Commerce: How Should Field Representatives Carry Themselves On Presentations? [print this page] For any event marketing company it is their field representatives who play a great and significant role in acquiring customers for their clients. Sales that result from any event hosted or organized depends a lot on the field representatives and the way they carry themselves during their presentation in events.
The meeting hosted by Oratory Commerce Assistant Owner Andrew Fair clough (Andy) strived to address these factors and to help field representatives on how to go about their jobs in a better way. Andrew Fair clough who is planning to set up an office in Ireland very soon gave the attendees a brief on how they can achieve their goals and targets easily. He also gave them a set of guidelines which would help them present their events in a much better way!
As a person with sufficient experience in the field, the Assistant Owner of Oratory UK told them that they could gain the customers attention verbally by asking question like "Hi, do you shop here often?", being assumptive and ice breakers to a particular conversation and also being able to speak with a tone of voice that reflects confidence. Another easy way was to answer questions clients put forward and end the particular answer with a question which facilitates them to have more control over the conversation and thereby over the client too.
Other factors which would help them achieve their daily target was by maintaining the correct body language (speaks a lot about the confidence level one has), keep smiling always (customers take you to be friendly and approach you without hesitation), use of hands which would helps field representatives paint a correct picture in the mind of customers, maintain eye contact with them and also nod in approval.
The field representatives of Oratory Commerce were lucky lot to have the Assistant Owner of Oratory Commerce Liverpool himself give them ways on how to maintain consistent sales.
