subject: House Call Rehydration Services Offered Today [print this page]

The turkey pesto sandwich John had tasted like metal, especially the last bite, he thought. And before he could even realize that there's something wrong, he already has swallowed it. Any food shouldn't have the metallic taste. Hours later he felt bloated, nauseaus and little did he know he has a diarrhea that won't just quit. As he was feeling the weaknes, he started to contemplate his options for medical help. John's doctor wasn't available that time so he has no choice but to rush himself to the nearest emergency facility. He finds it uncomfortable to sit because of his bloated tummy.

John has to wait while more sick people are being taken care of because his vital signs were pretty stable at the triage. Waiting and making quick trips to the restroom finally has ended after several hours. He was taken eventually to the patient care unit to be treated. He finally was able to leave the Emergency Department after tons of hours. He was rehydrated yes, but really exhausted. He then spent almost an hours just to get the medicines prescribed to him at a local pharmacy on his way home.

Meanwhile, another person got sick because of the very same turkey pesto sandwich. But Liz had a better idea in mind, she quickly called Urgent Med Housecalls to be treated. She didn't have to endure taking a trip to the nearest emergeny medical center. She quickly has spoken to an emergency physician and triage her directly right by the phone.

If a house call was identified sound and necessary, the emergency doctor would enroute to visit her at the comfort of her own home. After seeing Liz, in less than minutes, the physician conducted IV fluid hydration while also researching about her medical history. Liz took a medicine for nausea and soon she appeared to have forgotten why she had to call a doctor to begin with. The treatment was done approximately after fifty minutes. The doctor then left some medicines to take in case recurring symptoms occurred.

With IV fluid infusion during a doctor house call visit, a person with mild to moderately dehydrated condition resulted from tummy flu or even food poisoning can be treated. Certified emergency physicians were brought to patients wherever they are, be it in home, hotel room, workplace or literally anywhere, by Urgent Med Housecalls. A less-complicated, simple and convenient urgent care were given directly to the patients by these ER physicians. Those who require immediate care because of dehydration are offered rapid intravenous fluid hydration if deemed appropriate.
