The owner of a Nintendo Console would do well to make an investment into adapter cards to expand the function of their game system and figure out all of the additional ways in which they will be able to use their DS and DSi. Once you've made this choice, however, you will need to look into all of the various types of cards which are available and this can be difficult if you don't understand the basic differences between the cards themselves.

Two of the hardest types of cards to figure out are R4i and the R4 SDHC counterparts. When you need to figure out which type of card is right for your DS and Dsi, you will need to look between these two models.

The R4i card is a popular type of card to turn to because it is rather inexpensive and has a great range of function. They were building with advance technology in mind and as a result, you can expect to use this R4i adapter card to quickly load programs and give you a full range of function within moments. The R4i is also a wise choice because it can handle up to 32 Gigabits of memory, which is a very large quantity for a Nintendo DS and Nintendo Dsi. This means that R4i card should be able to work well for all of your gaming. The only drawback is that it only works for the original model of DS and the model directly after that, the DSi.

R4i card, on the other hand, is slated to work with the original Nintendo DS and the DSI as well as the newest model, the DS. This can allow you the chance to have an R4i adapter card which is going to work with any type of console and you can use this to your benefits to make sure that you'll always be able to use special programs, no matter which type of Ds and Dsi you have available.
