How great would it be to go out in your own back yard and pick your own grapes for eating or making wine, Jelly, juice and others from you own vineyard. It is easy to grow grapes in your own back yard. Just find a place where there is plenty of sunlight and air circulation. The ground will need to be well drained. It is preferable that you plant your vineyard on a hill side facing the south. This way you get plenty of sunlight and drainage on a hill side is great. You will need a plot big enough to plant at least 10 vines, but more is better. The vines should be planted in rows 8 feet apart with the plants being 12 feet apart on the rows. If you can find a spot in your yard that meets these requirements, you will have no problem planting your vineyard.
