Some people would be worried it might be a little small, because things always look a lot bigger with the zoomed-in close-ups on the website, but to tell the truth, they were never disappointed. The pendant is about the size of a half dollar coin.
The pendant sold in the store measures a hair over 1.5 inches from tip of petal to tip of opposite petal in each direction (not counting bale). The bale is pretty big to accommodate a different silver chain (and the clasp of course), some friends told me that its not big enough for an omega, though (almost 1/4 inch). Lucky they liked the chain that came with it and left it on. The photo is very accurate, and I know some friends would like to have a real measurement! Yeah, we are going to figure it out later. The chain is decent, not one of those stock chains you sometimes get that inevitably ends up in knots (you know the type!) It has larger links on the end to make it adjustable in length.
Trust me, Tiffany Jewelry would be very lovely on a young girls neck or with a turtleneck sweater. It is almost modern in its simplicity, but feminine, too. lol~ It is slightly convex, but not completely flat, which makes it look more like a flower. Some customers bought it because they wanted it for the holidays (thought it looked like a pointsettia) but I think it will look nice all year long (even in summer since it also looks a little like a hibiscus! Doesnt it?) You would also like to put a little crystal in the middle, or sparkly things if you wanted :) Thinking about the earrings to match, but havent decided yetit might be too muchmaybe something smaller.
Some other reviewers said that the chain itself is a little delicate, but it does the job. The focus of this piece remains on the flower pendant itself. And we will improve quality of the chain in the coming future.
Over all a fine addition to any jewelry collection.
