Actually, communication function is most important and significant advantage of cell phone, which shortens the distance between people, for example, a person who is on the north pole can speak to the person who is on the south pole through mobile phone. Quite wonderful, yes?
On the other hand, the disadvantages. Here, I want to ask you some questions. Have ever received a call in the midnight? Have you ever received a wrong ring? Have you ever gotten a ad message? Did other people disturb you when they were speaking on their cell phones? If your answer is YES, then, they are just disadvantages. Meanwhile, we know cell phone has radiation which is harm to our human bodies. Just because of this, we keep distance with it as possible as we can, especially we are sleeping.
Generally speaking, every single item has its advantages as well as disadvantages, and it is the same with the cell phone. We can not just regard it as a fetter or god, but it depends.
