subject: Why Would Anyone Want To Join Mlm? Nobody Makes Any Profit With Mlm, Right? [print this page] So why exactly would anyone want to join the MLM industry? With all the bad publicity that it receives, being branded as one of those 'pyramid things', horrific stories of people getting ripped off and so called uplines that just disappear after signing people up. People often get sceptical anytime you mention Multi Level Marketing to them.
The question I want to ask you here is...'Do YOU think MLM sucks?'
Here are some comparisons which will illustrate things better The average person will usually work a full time job building someone else's dream for an average of 45 years, in the UK where I am, the annual wage per anum per person averages around 23,800 which equates to around $36K in the US. Undoubtedly there are many folks bringing home more than this but I just want to focus on the averages for now. Bear in mind that you will probably be working around 35-40 hours each week in order to receive this salary.
I want to take a quick look at the MLM business model. By marketing products and building a team of other people to do the same you are able to create an income for yourself. The particular company that I have joined with (I won't try and pitch them here) is offering some outstanding value to the lives of its customers, so it sells well. For every person I directly sponsor as a customer I earn $45 every month. Suppose that I spent the next year working extremely hard and after all my efforts I was still only able to garner 100 customers, even then I would be earning 4500 each and every month which adds up to an annual wage of greater than the national average.
I'm not going to stop there though, I would be looking for many more sales than that! Lets think then if I had 100 people on my frontline team and every time they made a sale I earned $15; let's say they each only made just one sale, I have then earned an extra $1500 every month. When their team also sells products I also earn 3% of their sales volume. Of course you need a great product. The company I am involved with has a customer and distributor retention rate of 93%, when you consider how the products benefit people's lives it's not surprising.
Can you see the potential?
It's important to remember that it's now possible to build a business online, with the technology and systems that are available to us now. Given the fact that the internet offers us the chance to bring in leads all day long to your business, the power to build a residual income should not be ignored.
I am not aware of any other business model where such a residual income can be achieved. MLM is not some kind of get rich quick scheme so I have been very conservative in my comparison figures. Large incomes can be made in mlm but you need to have a long term vision. Several smart marketers are earning over $10,000 every week in the network marketing business. As an example my personal sponsor has made over $28K in just two weeks (and he did this from his beach home in Costa Rica) It was only just 6 months ago that he got started online himself and started with a budget of only $250!.
