subject: Grants And Scholarships From Obama's New Program Can Help Mothers Go Back To School Today [print this page]

The good news is there is now grant money available that is aimed at bettering one's education. The better news is this money is being made available to working moms, whether they are the sole provider or married and sharing the responsibilities. And the best news is that this government grant money can be obtained when working mothers apply for it, and it need never be paid back. These types of grant funds generally come from private citizens who donate generously in exchange for nice tax breaks, thus making this a winning situation for all parties concerned.

Even dual income families are finding it extremely difficult in today's economic climate it to cover all of the expenses involved with child care and raising a family. There are clothes to buy, health care expenses to consider, and of course putting food on their table. Often, young mothers who have not spent much time out in the workforce, find the only positions available to them involve working in the fast food industry or some other minimum wage job. They realize they need to be better educated and earn themselves a degree to qualify for some better paying job category.

The grant monies made available to help, called "Obama's Scholarships for Moms Program", are considered to be a big step toward gaining good jobs that can be considered a career and not simply just a pay check. This grant money may be used as tuition and to help cover expenses at a college or university of her choice. Many moms, especially single ones prefer online schooling because it enables them to stay home with their small children while improving their education. There are more options in educational grants to choose from, as well as options to apply for more than just one at a time. This financial assistance, when offered to single and working women who qualified (and qualification is simple), offers them even more financial assistance aimed to go toward bettering their education.
