However, many people dont that a dump truck and a backhoe may be rented for as little as $25/hour at a local yard that rents them. But, this does result in a problem because you will still need an operator for the backhoe and a driver for the dump truck.

However, if you can drive an automobile that has a standard shift you can probably operate both. Undoubtedly it will take some practice to get used of the backhoe but with some instruction in only a little while you should be able to us it to scoop dirt and place the dirt in the dump truck.

The yard that rents you the equipment will probably have a person who will probably give you an easy to understand manual of instructions and will probably teach you how to operate the levers. But, prior you digging dig in a populated area you should first go to the city planning office and check out their map for any underground utilities.
