San Antonio police Sgt. Daniel Alonzo said firefighters responding to a vehicle fire at a nearby restaurant hours after the robbery noticed the student violin in the vehicle Villarreal was driving and alerted police.
Video surveillance placed Villarreal at the scene of the robbery, Alonzo said.
