subject: Tips To Make A Stag Party A Blast [print this page]

"Parties thrown for a soon to be groom is called stag party. This party is intended for men only. The party is usually composed of the groom-to-be, the brother of the groom, and his friends.

A stag party is hosted by the groom's brother but if the groom has no brother or the brother does not want to host the event then the groom's friend can take over the honor in hosting the event.

This is a sort of a farewell to the singlehood by the groom-to-be. The party usually involves alcoholic drinks, watching favorite sports on a TV, going to casino, playing poker or any other things that the group agrees on.

Preparation

If you are to host the party, you should plan the party about a month or more ahead of the guy's wedding.

Choosing a good location for the event is very important as this greatly affects the outcome of the party.

Select a location that is unfamiliar to the bachelor so that everything would seem new and unforgettable to him.

Never ever have your party a week before the wedding as this may cause a lot of trouble to you and to the groom. Hangovers will be very visible to the groom's appearance and this will affect the outcome of the pictures during the wedding. This may also cause misunderstanding and quarrel between the couple.

Before having your party, ask for the permission from the bride and tell her everything you are planning to do. This gives her confidence and assurance that her groom will not do something wrong.

Be aware also that when you are to invite people to the party, choose only the ones that can be trusted and closest to him. Doing this will make the groom more comfortable.

Collect the money from people ahead of time, this helps prevent trouble during the party and helps in a better planning.

And of course, if you are planning to have wines and other similar drinks, be sure that you have someone who is not drunk to drive you all home. And if all of you are already drunk, then it would be better if you would just hire a taxi or a limousine for your own safety. You would not want the groom's bride looking for her partner, would you?
