subject: Disclose Ufo Findings, Says Former Canadian Defense Minister Paul Hellyer [print this page] For many years, it has been said that cover-up of UFOs on Earth has been one of the many government conspiracies that many have heard of. It is usually the plan of government leaders to assure their citizens that it is all untrue and that necessary investigations do take place in the event of any sighting. Come 2005 and this was all turned around by the former Defense minister in Canada, Paul Hellyer, who announced that he firmly believed in the existence of aliens.
Something that further fuelled the belief in government conspiracies when it comes to aliens was that he claimed to have seen UFOs. He says he saw them surrounding his late wife and also a bunch of his friends. Sometime in the 1960's he was said to have disembarked from a helicopter on an unusual landing pad in St. Paul, Alberta province. It was said that as part of a Canadian centennial celebration, they built this pad to promote peace in space and avoid any kind of war up there.
There is a video that has been doing its rounds on the internet of former minister Hellyer, beseeching governments to put an end to government conspiracies and simply reveal any artifacts and equipment collected during UFO investigations. He said that anything like weapons and equipment picked from crash sites like the famous Area 51 in Roswell, New Mexico should be revealed to the world because in the event of war, these may be the world's answer. He went on to say that UFOs will definitely contact Earth and these findings could be what promote peace in space.
There is a renowned scientist, Stephen Hawking, who once said that humans should heed his warning and avoid any possible contact with UFOs, something that believers listened to. It was Hellyer that shut the warning down disapproving of the statement from Hawking. On March 7th in Toronto, Canada there was a special showing of a film titled Fastwalkers which told the account of 30 witnesses with aliens. Hellyer was one of the keynote speakers during the special viewing.
Government conspiracies do not come better than hiding the fact that there may be life in outer space. Many are like former Defense minister Hellyer and believe in these visitors from another planet or galaxy, while just as many do not. According to astronomer from New York University, Michael de Robertis, contact is improbable from any beings form outer space.
