It would be wrong to say that this funnyman is limited to comedies, but that is definitely the genre that he is most comfortable working in. Over the years, Vince Vaughn has starred in a number of great films and it is no surprise that he is such a likable actor. His shtick is hilarious.
But what are his best films? Here are some of my favorite Vince Vaughn films ever.
One movie that definitely makes the cut for me is Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. Yes, Will Ferrell was incredible in this film, but what made it so great was the number of appearances from other stars in it. Vaughn plays the role of Wes Mantooth, a rival reporter.
Another movie that I would have to include on this list is Wedding Crashers. I have a serious problem with Wedding Crashers; it is one of those movies that any time I catch it on television, I have to watch it in its entirety.
It goes without saying that Into The Wild deserves to be mentioned. This was an odd role for Vince Vaughn; he was not advertised as being in the movie, but when I saw him on screen, I didn't complain. Emile Hirsch is excellent as the lead.
Another movie that I have to include on this list is Zoolander. This movie is an absolute classic, and probably my favorite Ben Stiller film of all. Vince Vaughn has a small part in this movie, as Derek Zoolander's brother.
Last but not least, Swingers definitely cracks the top five. In actuality, Swingers is the movie that established Vince Vaughn's presence in the comedy world. I need to watch this movie again very soon, and so should you.
As it stands, these are my favorite movies starring (or featuring) Vince Vaughn. I can't wait for Old School 2!
