Tourists can enjoy a full vacation with fabulous natural beauty and many interesting and enjoyable events and activities. Here are some of the events that you can visit during the month of December:

The Bahamas International Film Festival

The Bahamas has its own version of Hollywood sparkle and beauty at the Bahamas International Film Festival, also called BIFF. Cinema fanatics will definitely enjoy such a wonderful event. The film festival is well-known and attracts famous directors and stars from Hollywood, like Sean Connery, Nicholas Cage, and others; it runs from the 6th to the 13th of December. The BIFF program consists of special screenings, film creation and scriptwriting classes, talks, tributes and gala events.

The St. Kitts Carnival

Cultural festivals and historic events are rejoiced in most Caribbean Islands. Caribbean Carnivals with their colorful parades, street parties, and lively costumes and decorations are an icon. St. Kitts Carnival is known for its holiday festivities and, simultaneously, for its commemoration of national pride. It starts in mid December and continues until the 2nd of January. Attendees enjoy the j'ouvert, the huge parade, street festivals, and the sounds and tastes.

The Jazz Festival on Cayman

Cayman Jazz festival is a newcomer to the jazz scene, but it is a fine place for people who love jazz or just want a fun and relaxing night out to find just what they seek. A combination of eclectic local musicians as well as well known performers such as Alicia Keys, Oleta Adams and Peabo Bryson will charm guests.

The Junkanoo is hardly a typical festival. It runs on different days with each highlighting different events. On the second Thursday in December, be sure to enjoy the Junior Junkaroo Parade which showcases the fabulous Bahamian Junkaroo dancers. Guests will be wowed by the dancers' talent and passion, which has been instilled in them since their youth. Another one s the Junkanoo parade, which takes place on December 26. Known as the Boxing Day Junkanoo parade, this event showcases the best Junkanoo performers, spectacular costumes and distinctive musical accompaniments. At 2 o'clock in the morning, right after the Christmas midnight mass, the biggest non-religious fesitval in the Bahamas starts its parade.

St. Lucia's Heineken Kalalu World Music Festival

Music lovers, and aficionados, will be feel a strong attraction to the island of St. Lucia, where the Heineken Kalalu World Music Festival is held. Showcased on the oceanfront, this musical festival takes pride with a colorful amalgam of different musical genres, styles, and traditions. The festival is a four-night event and it's multi-ethnic and multi-cultural ensemble is sure to satisfy even the most demanding music-lover.
