Certainly, there are things that you should avoid for you to be able to lessen the negative effects of menstruation especially on the skin. The first thing that you should avoid is stress. Stress based on studies stimulates the adrenal gland causing to produce more hormones form it that leads to the production of excess oil and moreover, acne. It can also inhibit the hormones that will heal the scar to make them less visible. It slows down the healing processes of your skin.
