Teas are another way to do a body detoxify. Teas are full of antioxidants, which help the body extract free radicals that may cause cancer in the body. Teas are readily available in your local supermarket and specialty teashops. Teas can be enjoyed any time of the day from morning to night. In the morning try hot green tea instead of your normal coffee; it will give you the same wake up and the psychological lift of knowing you are doing something healthy is an added bonus.

We breathe in so many toxins everyday ranging from exhaust fumes to cigarette smoke. It is one of the problems of living in a modern world. We attempt to build up our bodies and lungs by out door exercises and in so many cases we are just exposing our lungs to the impurities of our modern world. You must ask yourself, is jogging next to the highway where all the exhaust fumes are concentrated beneficial or are we just subjecting ourselves to saturated levels of carbon monoxide? A lung detox is something that we can do on a daily basis. To accomplish a lung detox lay flat on the floor and inhale through your nose,draw in an abdominal breath letting your stomach rise, then exhale through pursed lips emitting almost a whistling sound. Force yourself to exhale as much as you can and then exhale longer. When you take in your next breath you will taste the befoulment in your mouth. The forced exhalation is the key if you do not have an odd taste in your mouth then you have not exhaled enough. Do this everyday and you will be astonished at the result.
