Let's imagine that you can hear a depressed persons thoughts, what will you hear? Well i imagine that they are saying that they are losers, things are going to get worse and my future looks bad.
An anxious person would be having thoughts like "if i do that I'll look like a fool", i never know what to say when i met new people or my boss is going to hate my project ideas. The reality is that our thoughts affect the way we feel and very negative thoughts commonly lead to fear plus anxiety. People's anxiety usually comes from the fear that they are going to be judged or hurt.
